Three words. Chia. Seed. Jam.
Not only is this recipe easy to make (it only takes 5 minutes) but it is PACKED with ingredients that are amazing for your skin!
Let’s break it down.
Chia seeds.
These little black seeds are awesome. They are loaded with antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids! You know what that means right? They fight aging, soothe inflammation, reduce acne scars. They also make your skin look radiant and healthy!
Raspberries.
Okay, so these are my FAVORITE berry and they are a very powerful berry might I add. Raspberries contain high levels of flavonoids and anthocyanins. These two substances have skin protecting properties! This means they may help protect your skin from pollution and other outside factors!
Now don’t get me wrong, you still need to wear a strong skin barrier moisturizer and spf, but hey, we will take anything that helps, right?
Okay, lets make it!
Take a handful of raspberries, and a tablespoon of chia seeds, mash them together and….VOILA! You got some delicious jam. Now spread some on your favorite toast (mine is Daves Killer Bread) and enjoy your healthy, skin nourishing snack!
